Taqtile to Release Work-Instruction Platform ‘Manifest’ for ARGO Smartglasses

Taqtile, a leading spatial computing and augmented reality technology company, is set to release its highly anticipated work-instruction platform, Manifest, which can be accessed via ARGO smartglasses. The combination of ARGO’s hand-tracking capabilities with Taqtile’s spatial computing technology creates a robust solution for deskless workers around the world.

The partnership between Taqtile and DigiLens, announced at Augmented World Expo (AWE) last year, has paved the way for the development of Manifest. The software will be showcased at AWE in Long Beach, California between June 18th – 20th, where attendees can experience firsthand the impact it will have on the sale of ARGO smartglasses.

Nima Shams, GM and VP, Product Business Unit at DigiLens, is confident that Manifest will revolutionize the productivity of deskless workers and drive demand for ARGO smartglasses. The hand-tracking capabilities of ARGO have been custom-made for Manifest, catering to the specific needs of industry and defense sector customers.

Manifest’s comprehensive feature set allows businesses to manage and scale work-instructions more effectively, enabling deskless workers to carry out complex maintenance work with accuracy and consistency. The platform also offers real-time remote assistance from knowledge experts, enhancing operational workflows and improving job performance.

Dirck Schou, CEO at Taqtile, praised ARGO for pushing the industry forward with its integrated hand tracking in a compact, wearable package. The latest version of Manifest, v2.8, has been upgraded for industrial and defense XR clients, providing enhanced inspection capabilities and fault management during inspection processes.

Taqtile’s support for Microsoft’s Unity-based Mixed Reality Toolkit 3 (MRTK3) further expands the usability of Manifest, making it compatible with a growing number of OpenXR devices. With Manifest and ARGO smartglasses, deskless workers will have a powerful new option for supporting their daily tasks and improving overall productivity.
