Spurs Week Introduces Cutting-Edge Technology Enhancements for Fans
The San Antonio Spurs are taking a huge tech step up during Spurs Week, offering fans a futuristic NBA experience like never before. The team has announced two groundbreaking initiatives to enhance the fan experience leading up to their games at Austin’s Moody Center as part of the I-35 Series.
First up, the Spurs are teaming up with Gan.ai, an AI video personalization startup, to create personalized generative artificial intelligence videos for all ticket holders attending the games in Austin. These unique videos will address fans by name, creating a one-of-a-kind welcome experience that showcases the team’s dedication to cutting-edge innovation.
But that’s not all – the Spurs are also introducing an augmented reality interactive experience during Spurs Week. Fans will have the opportunity to step into the world of H-E-B Creamy Creations commercials and see how they stack up against ice cream cartons and some of their favorite Spurs players. This mixed-reality experience will be available at pre-game events, the in-game concourse, and the Spurs Night SXSW Community Concert, offering fans a chance to engage with the team in a whole new way.
“We are thrilled to partner with Gan.ai and Fresh Consulting to create these unique and innovative experiences for our fans and partners,” said Jordan Kolosey, VP Business Strategy Innovation and Data Operations at Spurs Sports and Entertainment. “By utilizing AI and mixed reality technology, we are embracing trends that are redefining the industry and taking fan engagement to the next level.”
