According to the survey, Australian consumers are placing a high value on authenticity and trustworthiness in the content they engage with. User-generated content was found to be the most successful in this area, with email being the preferred content type for encouraging purchases among Australians. Interestingly, Australians also showed a strong interest in content utilizing AR/VR technology, ranking it as the second-highest strategy they would like to see implemented in content marketing for 2024.

In addition to these findings, the survey also revealed some interesting trends when it came to different generations. Gen Z, for example, showed a preference for user-generated content and video, while Baby Boomers preferred email as their content of choice. The survey also highlighted the impact of content length on consumer behavior, with medium-length content being the most likely to result in a purchase.
