Introducing the Exclusive VR Fitness App on Meta Quest 3 with 3D Fitness Coaches

The future of fitness is here, and it’s in virtual reality. Alo Moves, the digital content arm of popular athleisure brand Alo Yoga, is set to launch a groundbreaking VR and MR fitness app exclusively on Meta Quest 3. This app will allow users to interact with 3D versions of popular fitness coaches, creating a truly immersive workout experience.

Partnering with XR studio Magnopus, Alo Moves has created an app that features 3D-captured coaches and supernatural settings. Users can “walk” around the studio during classes to see instructors from all angles and feel fully immersed in the environment. Classes take place in stunning settings like ocean waters and mountain landscapes, making for a truly unique workout experience.

The app will include 3D instructors as well as “mini-instructors” that can be moved around the space to help users visualize and reference poses or movements. Led by well-known instructors like Ashley Galvin and Annie Landa, classes range from five to 25 minutes and cover a variety of disciplines including yoga, Pilates, and meditation.

With a monthly membership of $12.99 or an annual membership of $129, users will have access to this innovative fitness app on their Meta Quest 3 devices. This launch comes at a time when VR fitness is gaining momentum, with Meta investing heavily in the space to attract more users to exercise through fun and engaging experiences.

Studies have shown that VR fitness can have a positive impact on people’s emotions, with users reporting improvements in their emotional state compared to traditional exercise. With big-name fitness brands like Zumba also entering the VR fitness space, it’s clear that the future of fitness is virtual.

Despite legal troubles in the past, including a lawsuit from AEI alleging a monopoly on the VR space, Alo Moves and Meta are pushing forward with their innovative fitness app. With the lawsuit recently dropped, it seems that nothing can stop the rise of VR fitness. Get ready to experience a whole new way to work out with the Alo Moves app on Meta Quest 3.
