MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. — The Air University K-12 Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Outreach Program has taken a major step in promoting STEM education by awarding the primary Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality Lab in Montgomery, Alabama to Booker T. Washington Magnet High School. This initiative was launched on October 25, 2023, marking a brand new era in immersive learning experiences for college students.

What is the AR/VR Lab?

The AR/VR Lab is provided with ten workstations, providing students with an immersive introduction to virtual reality.
