One of the most recent Pigeon Forge attractions is about to make its grand opening. The biblical virtual reality experience Truth Traveler opens June 18.
Truth Traveler transports visitors to the time of Adam and Eve and even baby Jesus. With custom 5D animation, guests can explore the Garden of Eden, ride on Noah’s Ark, roam the Tower of Babel and witness the resurrection of Jesus.
Guests will wear VR headsets and sit on benches that move, adding one other layer of realism to the immersive attraction. It also encompasses a planetarium, and there’s a present shop and an area for snacks and drinks.
The $15.5 million, 26,000-square-foot facility broke ground in 2024. The attraction is being developed by Answers in Genesis, the creators of the Ark Encounter in Kentucky, a full-sized replica of Noah’s ark.
Truth Traveler is at 2860 Parkway, Pigeon Forge. Tickets are $25 and can be found at truthtraveler.com.
Another location is scheduled to open in Branson, Missouri, in August.
