After a shift within the Summer Olympics for one yr as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic, Tokyo will organize the games this summer, despite a rise in cases in the town.

Nevertheless, the games appear to proceed, and USA Today has published two AR experiences by which two recent sports, skateboarding and sports climbing are highlighted, making their Olympic Games.

The AR experiences show the American skilled skateboarder Tom Schaar and the team USA -climber Kyra Condie. A 3D scan of each athlete anchored within the camera view along with video clips and AR simulations of your signature moves.

Both experiences include stories of their respective athletes and the USA -TORMPREPRORTER TOM SHAD and interactive hotspots with further information and content.

The AR experiences are actually available for iOS and Android on devices which might be compatible with Arkit and Arcore via the USA Today app.

In 2018, the New York Times made their debut with an AR experience of the winter games (with the Washington Post also the publication of AR content).

After a gradual AR content, the publication in 2019 was withdrawn, with USA Today filling the gap as a suspected provider of AR news content. According to an organization spokesman, USA Today published eight AR stories in 2020, with plans to extend its amount of content in 2021.

USA Today has also shown a hand for Sport -Ar content, including earlier stories concerning the highlighting of the NHL and the FIFA women's World Championship. While we create the circle, the USA Today is predicted to cover the Summer Olympics in AR, and much more appropriate that this latest tour focuses on innovations within the historical international event.
