New VR Game: Zombie Army VR Coming May 22
Get Ready to Hunt Zombie War Criminals in VR!
Starting May 22, players will have the option to hunt zombie war criminals in virtual reality. The game, Zombie Army VR, is being dropped at PlayStation VR2, Quest, and PC VR headsets in partnership with a gaggle called Xtended Realities. Originally developed by XR Games, the sport has undergone some changes, with the brand new developer providing "independent co-development technical and inventive support".
What to Expect
According to representatives announcing the sport’s release date, Zombie Army VR guarantees several features, including:
- ProTubeVR support on Quest and PC, which allows for an immersive experience with World War II weaponry and melee combat.
- bHaptics support on PlayStation VR2, Quest, and PC VR, which adds to the immersive experience.
- X-ray Kill Cam, which provides a cool and gory approach to take down the undead.
Hands-On Experience
In a recent demo, our colleague Henry Stockdale tried out the sport and enjoyed the motion, but noted some issues. "The game offers an enjoyable motion shooter, but there are a couple of issues holding it back," he said. We’re curious to see how the sport finally comes together on May 22.
